The next morning, Tony had decided that he will walk down and then time the way up the very steep path to the house every day for exercise purposes. 27th: 09:20 28th: 08:12 29th: 07:35
Joanna started yesterday with tagging along a fourth of the way and today a third for practice.
On the way down, there are some beautiful flowers that are grown on the property.
We have never seen pink poppies before!EchinaceaPetuniasMini succulents planted in a large tree stump.Suddenly, we came off a bend and took a couple of monkeys by surprise. One of them climbed casually up the nearest tree and went back to eating. They seem not to be shy or afraid of people at all. After having huffed and puffed all of the way up (Tony) / one fourth of the way up (Joanna), we had a rest and Tony got his book of 1,7 kilos. “The Anarchist’s Designbook” it’s all about furniture making, with hand tools and also Tony’s bible for this part of the journey. This book was about to cost us 2100 rupies in the check-in desk to the domestic flight some days earlier, as the main luggage was overweight with 2 kilos. But when Tony took it out and put it in his hand luggage, miraculously all extra charges disappeared.
