Lovely morning again, warm and sunny, the forecast promised rain after lunch though, so again an early walk.
Today’s flower is Digitalis or fingerborgsblomma in Swedish.We walked into a field of daisies.Some words of wisdom suddenly appeared. Good advise!We found a present in the woods. It took some willpower to master the curiosity, but no, we didn’t open it!Joanna havig a breather before re-entering the Spacehouse premises.Today’s birdie, species unclear.Some kind of waxwing perhaps?Actually looking down on the clouds above the valley.Some coffee + figuring out grain-direction-preferences regarding the seat part.It turns out that the shed where the board-to-be-seat spent its night allowed some of yesterday’s heavy Himalayan rain to trickle in just above the board’s location. No worries though, it only took 15 minutes in the morning sun to dry and vanish.No canine company at the wood shed today meant that the cat had free reign and wanted to participate in everything.Kitten assisting.Nidhi is busy at the computer this morning.Emily has already sewed the whole tulip.Sometimes a painter Ne(e)d to muster all available body strength into the strokes. Ned finally got the right conditions to try out that northern view.After lunch, we went for a trip to the bee keepers house, Nidhi, Ned, Hannelie and Joanna. Joanna was grateful to be in the front seat on the serpentine roads. We were driven by Sanjay, who is an excellent driver.It was quite rainy so some of the roads had water holes that Sanjay drove carefully through..We first went to the neighbours’ house by mistake.As the rain got heavier, we huddled in a space on the first floor where they kept a lot of potatoes and tomatoes. A dog kept barking on the second floor, until a nice lady came out and talked Hindi to Nidhi.Ned is admiring the view.
Another woman came out barefoot in the rain and showed us that they, too, had bees in the walls of the house next door to theirs. The flower relief is actually such a hole for the bees.
After a five minutes walk, we arrived at the right house and were offered some chai tea by the bee keeping woman.Here we sit on the porch, waiting for the rain to stop.On the back of their house, they had three holes in the wall where bees flew in and out.
They also had an extra house for rent, also with a lovely view.
We then headed back with Sanjay, who has batman on the back of his car. He showed us some nice shops where we could buy local crafts and textiles.
Nidhi bought some maggies (noodles) for tea. Here she is perfecly matched with the gate to the store.Joanna got to buy spices, tea and beans in the local stores.
For dinner, there was served some nice dal – lentille soup with rice and chicken.
